These rooms are located on the first floor, above the pub, and have the most green-and-glorious garden views and space for a doggy bed (or two), too.

Perched atop the pub are our spacious bedrooms, with bucket-loads of room to unpack your bags, or for a cot for a little one (or a dog bed for any fur babies)

We have one sofa bed available on request too, which is great for keeping the whole family snug and relaxed.

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Tonbridge?

We love being in the heart of Kent and just know you will too.

We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. If you’re sticking around for a longer stay (we don’t blame you), then we’ll help you with plenty of walks, trips and activities to keep you busy.

What are the best things to do in Tonbridge?

Honestly, so much. From exploring Kent’s most authentic medieval castle to rambling pretty villages or adventurous woodland walks.

We love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here. We’re a friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our cosy pub to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 8am (7 days a week). If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got lots of family-friendly bedrooms.

Our Bigger Comfy rooms can fit cots for the littlest of guests, and one has a sofa bed available for the bigger little ones (you’ll need to reach out to request this one).

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Yes, we love furry four-legged friends coming to stay so we’ve made our Comfy Twin and Bigger Comfy rooms dog-friendly.

All you need to do is add your dog to your booking (up to two doggo’s can stay with you for £15 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a super-comfy doggy bed, blanket and tasty tail-wagging treats.

 

 

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

Yes, we’ve got plenty of on-site parking but it’s worth noting that it’s always on a first-come first-parked basis.

How do I get to you via public transport?

You can journey to us via Tonbridge train station. We’re then a quick 8-minute cab ride away. You can usually find cabs just outside the station and you’ll be with us lickety-split.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
